Frequently Asked Questions

Find clear answers for Structural Solutions.

How do I know if I need wall ties replaced?
Common signs include horizontal cracking that follows the mortar joints, bulging or bowing cavity walls, and rust staining bleeding through render or brickwork. Corroded wall ties lose their strength and can let the two leaves of a cavity wall separate, so a structural inspection is the safest way to confirm it.
